Cooperation
EPAQ is cooperating with Pan and Pro Europe. Pan and Pro Europe is the European federation of of the producers of sandwich panels and metal profiles. Together with Pan and Pro Europe, EPAQ is working on the field of European standardization in several committees and on European regulations published by the European Commission.
The close cooperation with Pan and Pro Europe enables a strong representation in all relevant groups on the European level.
The Institut für Sandwichtechnik carries out research and development projects in the field of sandwich technology. It provides consultancy service for companies with the intention to qualify their products for CE marking and particularly for the EPAQ Quality Label. The institute provides guidance to EPAQ in technical questions and strongly supports the EPAQ intention to set high quality standards for sandwich panels.
The “Versuchsanstalt für Stahl, Holz und Steine” is working in the field of thin gauge metal structures including structural sheeting, sandwich panels, fasteners and connections. The staff is experienced in theoretical, numerical and experimental investigations. The Versuchsanstalt is active as partner of research projects, as consultant in product development and as notified body for building authorities.
