The work of EPAQ is based on European standards which permit to label a product with a CE-mark. This CE-mark is based on declarations of the manufacturer. The members of EPAQ do more. The panels and profiles of EPAQ-members are under surveillance of independent third parties which control the characteristics of the products regularly. The testing of the products, the evaluation of material properties and the testing of samples twice a year under independent control guarantees that the characteristics fulfil the requirements of the European standards and moreover the requirements of EPAQ's Quality Regulations.

Third parties working together with EPAQ are laboratories, auditors and experts with very good knowledge on sandwich panels and profiles. All these groups are working independently from the industry to ensure objective results and a high-quality EPAQ Quality Label. Many of the experts who are working for the third parties are directly involved in the development of European standards and European recommendations (i.e. CIB and ECCS).

EPAQ has created Testing Rules to harmonize the work of the third parties to ensure a coordinated and equal work all over Europe, so that a quality defined at one end of Europe is the same defined at the other end.

EPAQ-manufacturers and third parties are acting together to guarantee high-quality products under the Quality Label of EPAQ.
